Which lessons explain the basics?

Internet & Wi-Fi are different and Modem, router, or gateway? explain the core concepts. The remaining lessons build on that vocabulary. You can return to the glossary whenever a term is unfamiliar.

Are these lessons only for Xfinity users?

No. Most lessons explain general home-networking concepts. The separate Xfinity terminology guide discusses provider language and links to original documentation.

Why can Wi-Fi be connected while a website is unavailable?

The wireless link and the wider internet connection are different parts of the journey. A website also depends on its own systems. The Wi-Fi indicator alone does not confirm that every part of that journey is available.

Are the lessons free?

Yes. This edition has no paid courses, subscriptions, technical support service, or checkout. All six lessons are available without a website account; this private preview itself is controlled by the hosting platform.
